i created this one last year, late last year. this one reallly reflects the mood i was in. its amazing how my emotions and moods subconciously come out through my art. i guess thats why i find it hard to talk about what im feeling. art is second nature to me.
title from a song by Expatriate - the spaces between (beautiful song)
i was inspired to make this by some problems i was having with my girlfriend. it may look as if its a cheery and bright piece, but when i made it i wasnt feeling that at all. well ill let you figure out what you think it means, or what it means to you.
thanks
sim
This is really good! I'm amazed. Some parts it's basic, in others it's complex. Nice balance!~
-- I'm feeling better since I surrendered. You can't climb until you're ready to fall. You're not a landmine. You're not a goldmine. No you're not mine at all.

cheery and bright? how so?? it looks like a heart being stabbed, set alight by evil (although admittedly psychodelic coloured) flames perched on a volcano head. No no i think it has many elements plausibly related to a shitty time in a relationship
But this is wicked sim, i think the multi-layeredness of it all is mighty mighty

It doesn't look so cheery and bright to me...it looks a bit troubled, violent and somewhat chaotic. I see the angry face in the background. This is a very personal piece. It's also beautiful.

Across the globe, 27 million men, women, and children live in some form of slavery. That is more people at this moment than in all the centuries of the Atlantic Slave Trade. Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.
